Mauritius Timeline of events following ICTA's proposed amendments to the ICT Act of Mauritius

On the 14th of April 2021, the Information and Communication Technologies Authority published a consultation paper on proposed amendments to the ICT Act in order to regulate social media in Mauritius.

Internet users, industry professionals and international organizations have commented on the proposed amendments. ICTA responded via press communiques.
